Third Step Prayer

The Third Step is the ultimate "willingness" step. We have proven it to ourself that we can't. We have gained an understanding that he can. Now we are making a decision to turn our life and our will over to his direction and care. That's a tall order! None of us can afford to take it lightly. Let's find out what the Bible says. Every week or so, we will be studying differant Bible versus'. Verses from God's word, that when understood and placed on our heart, will give us the foundation for victory and freedom in Christ. Understanding and memorizing bible verses, protects and strengthens us for our new life as a Christian. The verses will be provided in the forums each week. Please check-in and stop reguarily. You will be amazed at how this excercize will help you heal and grow
Start each and every day, on your knees with Jesus!
He can, and will, if we let him! You may want to re-write to your own way of speaking. Then memorize it. Use your lips when you pray and your heart will do the talking.

Father God, I offer myself to Thee - to build with me and to do with me, as you will. Relieve me of the bondage of self - that I may better do your will. Help me to be willing, so I can best serve you. Take away my difficulties, that victory over them may bear witness to those that I would help. Allow me to be an example of your love, your power and your way of life. For today Lord, help me to live in total Victory over my former Yoke of Bondage. May I do your will always. In Jesus name, I ask!
